Teens/Adults around Campfire
The Union Vale Parks and Recreation Department hosts two camping weekends each summer at Tymor Park.  Each weekend is geared toward providing opportunities for families and friends to gather together for a relaxing weekend in the park.

2017 August Camping Weekend Itinerary

July Weekend
  • July Camping Weekend (July 15-16): Everyone is encouraged to come and camp at Tymor Park for FREE.
  • Participants must pre-register and bring their own camping equipment (tents, sleeping bags, cooking equipment, etc).
  • Meals are NOT provided during this weekend event.
  • Charcoal grills are available around the park which participants are more than welcome to use on a first come, first served basis or you are welcome to.
  • Includes the use of the pool during normal operating hours and campsite/fire pit behind the pool area.

August Weekend
  • August Camping Weekend (August 25 – 27): Participants must pre-register for this activity and bring their own camping equipment (sleeping bags, tents, camp chairs, etc).
  • UVPR will provide meals and entertainment during this weekend.
  • Meals include Dinner Friday – Lunch Sunday.
  • Activities and entertainment will be scheduled Friday Afternoon – Sunday morning.
  • Includes the use of pool with extended hours and campsite / fire pit behind pool area.
